Description
These heavy weight knit
gloves provide dexterity when
handling oily sheet metal
that is sharp. Style 1800
gloves provide superior
protection from sheet metal
cuts as compared to aramid
knit products, but should not
be used near high heat or
open flame. The cotton
blended fabric absorbs oils
for a positive grip, while
the Abratex® stainless steel
core yarn helps resist sharp
metal edges. Color coded
cuffs aid in sorting gloves
after reconditioning, and
multiple sizes ensure an
exact fit. These gloves are
not recommended for use in
applications where nuts,
bolts or screws are being
turned with power tools as a
metal flashing could trap in
knit cloth and cause a
"wrap-up." NOTE: These gloves
contain stainless steel,
which can make them
potentially conductive in an
electrical hazard situation.
